Surveillance
![]() |
A surveillance system is often put in place to monitor an area or observe behavior. And the truth is that it is becoming more and more difficult to avoid at least some sort of surveillance. While a common type of surveillance is the use of closed-circuit television cameras to monitor and record surroundings, most of the places you go and even your own workplace may be monitoring your activities through the use of various surveillance systems, including:
o Phone tapping
o Microphones
o IP cameras
o Listening devices
o Night vision
o GPS tracking
o Electronic tagging
o Radar
o Reconnaissance
o Computer surveillance
Most organizations are involved in some type of surveillance. The government has the most advanced systems of surveillance and these systems are allowed by law. Most of these surveillance systems now include computer surveillance and can be used to track data and information. This type of monitoring is most often used for safety purposes and does not affect the daily lives of individuals.
In addition to the surveillance that we encounter every day, you may also be concerned about keeping your own home and family safe. Home surveillance is more and more becoming a part of our everyday lives as well. You may want to consider a system of surveillance for your home if you feel that you or your family is in danger or even if you just want the extra peace of mind that comes from knowing you have an extra level of protection. Your personal needs should always be taken into consideration.
